Learning Strategies

Learning strategies are different methods or techniques used by a teacher that will meet the various needs of every learner. These strategies are used to amplify learning and create a fun environment for learning. It is also a great way for students to create an individualized approach to complete task in the classroom.

My field of study is Special Education at the middle school level.

  1. I am musically inclined at all and had not considered using music as a strategy, but that is a natural fit for children. My son now is learning the different values of coins now through a song, my daughters learned the every U.S. states in alphabetical order this way also. I really believe and have seen the benefits from interactive modeling. Many students learn by doing but must see it first. Great strategies!
